What is Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage?
I provide a combination of Reflexology and Lymphatic Drainage techniques, mostly provided on the feet, to encourage movement of stagnant Lymphatic fluid through lymph nodes located at various sites throughout the body up towards your heart for removal.
This helps to reduces oedema and improves the highway exchange between nutrients and toxins/waste.
Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage also drains lymphoedema (fluid retention), which may be a symptom of dysfunctional heart, liver, kidney, or thyroid function. Lipoedema can also be a genetically inherited imbalance and also related to hormonal imbalances.
Oedema may also result from injury to a lymph node site, surgery, pregnancy, allergies, inflammation, medications or toxin build-up.
Poor water intake and food choices, as well as high stress and inflammation can also contribute to oedema.
