"First do no harm" is the Naturopathic Oath I swore to, when I received my Diploma in Natural Medicine in 2012. Working on folk with blood clots or Thrombosis is totally contra-indicated with Reflexology and indeed Massage. Therefore, I request that you allow 14 days after you have received any Covid-19 vaccination before making your appointment in clinic. I reserve the right to refuse your appointment due to my concerns for your health and safety regarding Thrombosis.
THE SALE OF ANY NATURAL HEALTH PRODUCT
The sale of any natural health product within the premises of Maintaining Your Health (Whakatikatika Oranga) is in accordance with (section 32 of the Medicines Act 1981). Natural Therapists (and others) have specific exemptions from some of the requirements of the Medicines Act 1981 in recognition of their role.
The effect of the exemption is to allow Natural Therapists to manufacture, pack, label, sell by retail, or supply certain medicines, even when they have not been approved by the Minister of Health, providing they are supplied to an individual following a consultation with the practitioner.
Unapproved medicines that can be supplied to an individual following a consultation with the practitioner are known as general sale medicines. A general sale medicine is one that does not contain an ingredient that is scheduled in the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975 or one that has not been classified under the Medicines Act 1981 as a prescription, restricted (pharmacist-only), or pharmacy-only (pharmacy) medicine. https://www.medsafe.govt.nz/profs/naturalhealth.asp
PERSONAL DATA PRIVACY
It is your choice as to whether you provide your personal information such as your name, address, email and phone number, upon completion of the client registration form. If you choose to provide this information to us, it will only be used for natural health promotional purposes of Maintaining Your Health (Whakatikatika Oranga) to help improve your experience with us.
Any information collected by Maintaining Your Health (Whakatikatika Oranga) will be kept confidential (unless there is a direct threat to your life or another person) and not passed on, sold or distributed to any third parties. You have the right to inspect, change or delete your personal details on request, except for the information we are legally required to hold. PRICES AND CURRENCY DISCLAIMER
All prices pertaining to products and services provided by Maintaining Your Health (Whakatikatika Oranga) are subject to change without notice. All prices are correct at time of publication; however, we reserve the right to alter prices for any reason.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL THERAPIES
Life happens - we are all human and everyone now and again experiences a true emergency. Cancellation fee applies to missed full consultation or treatment appointment charge. 24 hours cancellation notice is required via telephone, text or in person. Please be considerate as another client would have valued your appointment time. If no payment or contact has been received, an invoice for full cancellation fee will be sent. If still no further communication or payment made, then Debt Collection will commence.
Bridgitt McNabb, Trading As Maintaining Your Health (Whakatikatika Oranga), reserves the right to cancel or terminate any client appointment or association, if it is believed this can become unhealthy, unsafe, or counter-productive in any way or manner for one or both parties involved.
REFUND POLICY FOR ALL THERAPIES
Policy refund for any purchased therapy treatment(s) at Maintaining Your Health (Whakatikatika Oranga) is five business working days. If five business working days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange unless covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act. To be eligible for your therapy treatment(s) refund, proof of purchase is required.
Please inform us of your intention within five business working days, via email to maintainingyourhealth@gmail.com, so as we can issue a credit to your bank account. No cash refund will be given.
Arrangements can be made for an exchange of therapy treatment(s) equal to purchase price and duration of treatment. Alternatively, Gifting your paid therapy treatment is acceptable. Please inform us within five business working days, via email to maintainingyourhealth@gmail.com of your intention, so as we can issue the relevant gift vouchers.
If full payment has been made in advance for your Naturopath or other natural health treatment packages, (including any herbal remedies, natural health products or Practitioner products) and your first appointment has been booked and then cancelled within 24 hours, and you choose to cancel the remainder of your natural health treatment packages (including any herbal remedies, natural health products or Practitioner products), cancellation policy applies for your first cancelled appointment. Refund policy will then be applied if requested via email, within five business working days.
NATUROPATH PACKAGE - CHILDREN/TAMARIKI (Ages 10-12 years)
Overview - Natural Holistic Health Package Investment: $233 per child/tamariki. Flexible Payment Plan available
A flexible three-instalment payment plan is available for children and tamariki aged 10–12 years, where two or more consultations are booked in a series. This applies to one child/kotahi te tamaiti, or two siblings/tamariki tokorua both aged 10–12 years from the same family/whānau and each billed separately.
HEALTH INVESTMENT INSTALMENT STRUCTURE
Health Investment One
$80.00 — due 24 hours before first Naturopath consultation
Secures your child's/kotahi te tamaiti place. No Naturopath consultation will proceed without receipt of Payment one.
Health Investment Two
$80.00 — due 24 hours before second Naturopath consultation. Payment due prior to your child's/tamariki second Naturopath consultation proceeding.
Health Investment Two
$73.00 — due 24 hours before third Naturopath consultation. Final instalment, due prior to your child's/tamariki third Naturopath consultation proceeding.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING
We warmly understand that children and tamariki become unwell suddenly and without warning. Life with little ones is beautifully unpredictable.
Bridgitt offers you, a one-time complimentary reschedule per child/tamariki Package, provided Bridgitt is notified by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Should you choose to Step Away or Cancel your Children/Tamariki Naturopath Package (10-12years), before commencing the First Naturopath Consultation or after completion of the First Naturopath Consultation, unfortunately the Package Health Investment Fee no longer applies and you are required to pay the outstanding difference in Health Investment One fee of $14.94 within five business working days.
Email is required so that both parties have a clear and kind record of the arrangement.

Second Reschedule Request
Should a second reschedule be needed, we gently ask that you reach out to Bridgitt directly by email so we can find the best way forward together for your children's/tamariki holistic Natural Health Journey. Bridgitt will respond with warmth, kindness and professional care to find a new appointment time that works for your family/whānau. Standard Cancellation Policy terms apply from this point, as outlined in the Maintaining Your Health Terms and Conditions.
We truly want your children/tamariki to complete their holistic Natural Health Journey and receive the full benefit of their programme — and we will do everything we can to make that possible for your family/whānau.
If Your Whānau and Family Need to Step Away from the Programme
We understand that life brings sudden and unexpected moments — financial pressures, whānau and family changes. Should your family/whānau feel the need to step back from the Programme after the first Naturopath consultation has been delivered, please let Bridgitt know by email within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.
Health Investment One ($80.00) is non-refundable, as your children's/tamariki first Naturopath consultation and clinical care have been delivered with Bridgitt's full commitment and professional care.
Should you choose to Step Away and Cancel your Health Investment One Children's/tamariki first Naturopath consultation, this health investment Package fee, will unfortunately revert back to the original full price of $94.94. This will leave an outstanding owing amount of $14.94 due for payment within five business working days.
Health Investment Two and Three will not be charged, provided written email notification is received within 24 hours of the scheduled second Naturopath appointment.
We part ways with warmth and kindness, and leave the door open for when the timing is right for your children/tamariki to continue their holistic natural health Journey, if they wish to do so, with Blessings.

This will leave an outstanding owing amount of $56.89, due for payment within five business working days.
Health Investment Two and Three will not be charged, provided written email notification is received within 24 hours of the scheduled second Naturopath appointment.

This appointment is to discuss the reasons why you wish to have a Naturopath appointment, and if we can work together to help you find a solution for your current health imbalances?
Should your free 15minute Naturopath chat go over the 15minute allotted time, unfortunately, I am required to charge you $1.00 per minute for extra time.
REFUND POLICY FOR NATURAL HEALTH PRODUCTS
We, at Maintaining Your Health (Whakatikatika Oranga), are more than happy to exchange or refund any unopened and unused, re-saleable, non-customised items e.g. natural health products or practitioner products as set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act. Please note, in New Zealand, all supplements are required to have been stored below 25C in with no direct sunlight. Proof is required in order for exchange or refund.
Non-customised items include products cut, made-to-measure, special orders or herbal remedies and herbal tea mixes specifically mixed for you, cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Refunds will only be provided for regular priced items, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, natural health product or practitioner product must be returned to us within 28 days of purchase, in its original condition and packaging, including proof of purchase.
RETURN OF FAULTY NATURAL HEALTH PRODUCT
Once your natural health product is returned either in person or by shipping (courier), it will be inspected and you will be informed via email that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be returned to your bank account. Please provide these details in your original email.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on your location or any State of Emergency events occurring in New Zealand at the time, the shipping time may vary. Please allow for 3-7 business working days.
REFUND OF CERTIFICATE OF PREPAID WELLNESS
All Certificates of Prepaid Wellness are given a six month expiry date from purchase date. We at Maintaining Your Health (Whakatikatika Oranga) are under no obligation to refund full purchase price or fulfil Certificate of Prepaid Wellness treatment after stated expiry date. There will be no reminders. Recognition of expiry date will only extend for the week of expiry. Thank you.
To qualify for a refund we require notice of intention within five business working days via email plus proof of purchase.
Alternatively, to honour the Bestower, Gifting forward once, your paid Certificate of Prepaid Wellness, is acceptable. Please inform us within five business working days, via email to maintainingyourhealth@gmail.com of your intention, so as we can re-issue the relevant Certificate of Prepaid Wellness.
