Mother Nature has gifted humans the amazing healing power of medicinal herbal medicine. Herbs like Green Oats, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Lemon Verbena, St. Johns Wort, Valerian, Tilia, Lavender and Skullcap all can play their part in holistically balancing the mentional/emotional state.

Not forgetting that close connection between gut health and the nervous system with Golden Seal, Pau d' Aco, Garlic, Slippery Elm and Echinacea and Marshmallow.

Currently, i am the only registered qualified Medical Herbalist with a liquid Medicinal Herbal Dispensary available for herbal remedies in Taradale CBD.

If you would like to know more about how i can help you with Herbal medicine and remedies please go to Herbal Medicine.

Why not start preparing now with natural health options? Naturopathy can assist you here.

A healthy gut is similar to a healthy vege garden. What you put in is what you will reap. Prepare the gut with prebiotics (healthy soil fertiliser and compost) and then you sow your (vege) seeds or Probiotics.

Prebiotics come from specific plants to nourish and feed your good gut bacteria and encourage its growth and population. Recent studies have also shown a direct link between your gut and mental health. Eating prebiotics on a daily basis may lessen anxiety, depression, and stress.

Healthy gut flora becomes crucial for a natural immune defense system and eliminating parasites. Probiotic Yoghurt made with dairy may create more mucus in the body and can be high in sugar.  I suggest either Probiotic capsules or Fermented foods like Sauerkraut, Kimchi, Kombucha, Kefir, Pickled veges.

Other nutrients like Zinc (almonds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds; sardines, shrimps and oysters) Vitamin C (kiwifruit, feejoa's, citrus and leafy green veges) and D (sunshine, fish, mushrooms and eggs), Slippery Elm, Aloe Vera and Glutamine are great gut healers.  Specific Nutrition advice can assist you here.
